Do I have the right to use the company information I receive from ProspectFinder?
Yes, the company information is included as a part of the ProspectFinder license that our customers receive. This is due to that Enecto buy and sell copyright protected company information from Dun & Bradstreet, which gives our customers the right to use all the information they get from ProspectFinder.
Is it legal to track visitors on our website and display detailed company information?
Yes, as long as you do not track and display information about private persons it's legal. We have done extensive research in this area to ensure that everything ProspectFinder shows is legal and as early as 2002 we gave Lindahls the mission to research the EU laws concerning this. The company information that we deliver is bought from our Partner Dun & Bradstreet and we are a licensed retailer of the information they deliver. Thereby we have full athourity to display this information to our customers.
Will there be any images or banners on our pages from your code?
No, the only thing that will be placed on the page will be a 1 x 1 pixel transparent GIF which is used as part of the tracking process.
Can I filter out results that I do not need to see?
Yes, ProspectFinder's reports give the possibility to exclude certain company or ISPs to get more exclusive information about the visitors.
Does ProspectFinder code change anything on the user's browser?
No, ProspectFinder uses standard HTML code and or sometimes Javascript to read some of the browser's settings like the browser type, browser language etc. but it does NOT change or update the browser in any way nor does it try to hijack the home page settings or embed off-line tracking code either.
How many pages can it track on my website?
You can track as few or many pages on your website as you want, though the more pages you track the more complete the picture of how your site performing will be. We have different account for different users but also the possibility to have a complete covering of your website.
Will ProspectFinder work on secure https servers?
Yes, ProspectFinder's tracking code automatically configures itself for working on normal http sites areas as well as the secure https sites.
Will ProspectFinder slow down our site?
No, if you use the IMG tag method the amount of data requested from the ProspectFinder servers is just a few hundred bytes and loads in a fraction of a second, normally well before the rest of your page. The tracking image is loaded from ProspectFinder's servers and will not add any load to your servers.
Is it possible to get information about our visitors Email address?
No, ProspectFinder will not collect e-mail addresses but you can find more informations about the visitor thru search engines linked in the system.
Can you tell me which country my visitors come from?
Yes, ProspectFinder uses information from many different databases and also aggregates new unique data. You can see Company name, City, Country, Region, Phonenumber, Adress, Number Employees, Turnover, industrial classification.
Will ProspectFinder® work on any Website?
Yes, ProspectFinder works equally well on both dynamic and static sites irrespective of whether it is written in PHP, JSP, ASP, Coldfusion, Perl etc as long as the site delivers HTML. Database driven sites also work well as the ProspectFinder code can be normally placed in with existing text. This is rendered directly on to the web page when it is loaded in the browser, and is invisible to the user.
Will ProspectFinder work with cached pages when visitors use the back button?
Yes, ProspectFinder will work with cached pages because the Javascript tracking code is run each time the page is loaded, whether or not is is a new page or cached page when the back button is used.
Does ProspectFinder work with a firewall?
Yes, ProspectFinder is unaffected by any firewall you may use.
